Spyder Men's Dolomite Hoody - Lightweight Waterproof Ski Jacket for Winter Sports & Outdoor Activities

I bought a theory green color. Well made jacket and good enough to keep me warm through out the winter in Northern California. Size small fits me perfectly. I'm 5'6" and 149 lbs and the jacket still has some room for a sweater to be worn underneath. Not bulky at all. Size S measurements: underarm to underarm is approx. 20" Front center zipper: approx. 26" and back length from neckline: approx. 27". There's an issue with the theory green color that the shell is semi-transparent enough so that the black down feathers are visible through the shell, making the shell look a bit dirty or discolored. I inspected it when it was on my hand. At first, I thought someone bought and used it then returned it for some reasons but NOPE. That's how theory green color is. It's still a nice jacket but black or darker color looks more badass, I think.Cons: lack of basic features such as internal pockets and the hood is not 3D adjustable and missing the spyder logo in the back. (Previous Dolomite hooded jacket were made to look more solid than the current 2015-2016 line)This is a very good product - especially for the price point. I have had several similar Spyder hooded jackets over the years - but - it appears that Spyder has changed their sizing dramatically as this jacket was clearly a size too small and I am was always an XL in Spyder products. (6', 46" chest, 200 lbs.) I ended up just returning it because there is no provision for simple exchange for a larger size. I would purchase the next size larger - but it appears that the seller has now upped the price by 30% for the same item - perhaps because it is now after October 1st? Unfortunate. Just remember to go up one size when you buy this - it is a cold weather product and it is a safe bet you are going to want to wear more than just a T-shirt underneath. Amazon is a good source - but purchasing from a seller that makes size exchanges easy will always be my choice from now on.Normally I'm not a fan of the puffy coats. However, for a 700 fill, the Dolomite is nice and slim with the perfect amount of fluff. Awesome mid weight jacket. Spider has always run small it seems. I'm 5'10" 180 and the XL fits perfect. The liner is satin smooth, the pockets are fleece lined and I really like the fleece on the collar. Might make some jealous with this but, I got mine for $50. You're not going to find a nicer real down jacket for the price. I do wish there was an inside pocket but not at all a deal breaker. First day I had the coat it was 15-20 degrees out and I was plenty warm with only a tshirt underneath.I love everything Spyder. This jacket didn’t disappoint but isn’t nearly as warm as I thought it would be. It would be great for winter where it doesn’t go below 32°, but in Ohio where it gets cold I need to wear a hoody under it. Not a big deal thoLove this jacket! The jacket is very light and super warm without the bulk. I can wear just a t-shirt underneath and still be warm in below 0 temps. Blocks out the elements very well. The only downside is the sizing is on the smaller side. I am usually a L but it felt tight under my armpits so I would suggest going up a size. Other than that I would highly recommend this jacket.It was a bit smaller than expectedSuper light and warm. My son loves it. Water repellent!!!Tight in the arms and the fabric made a lot of noise when it rubbed together. I returned it.
