I have the hooded version of this jacket. like most other Salomon jackets I have tried it is designed for a slim/athletic build (if you do not have this type build, then this is not for you).It is a very comfortable jacket, (albeit with slightly longer arms). The collar is fleece lines, as are the pockets. The sleeve cuffs are elastic and very comfortable and prevent drafts going up sleeve. The synthetic fill is warm, but comfortable (not too warm, in my opinion). I find the jacket breathable, and use it as a mid-layer for very cold days under a shell, and as a stand-alone jacket on mild fall or early spring days.
