This set includes 25 point 88 fine-liner pens with water-based ink in vibrant colors and have been specially designed to have a long "cap-off" time. The uniquely-designed, long-wearing tips are encased in metal, so the pens can be used with rulers and stencils without damaging the tip.
COMFORTABLE GRIP - The famous hexagonal body shape of the STABILO point 88 makes it very comfortable to grip.
METAL ENCLOSED TIP - The 0.4mm line width offers you a great deal of control and precision and the metal-enclosed tip provides strength and durability.
PRECISE - For drawing you can create intricate details; for writing you can go really small with your font size. It is also perfect for use with rulers and stencils, making it ideal for precise work, structuring texts and taking notes.
LONG CAP-OFF TIME - Thanks to the long cap-off time you won’t have to worry if you accidentally leave it off.
SET OF 25 DIFFERENT COLORS - The 5 different neon shades are perfect for quick notes, underlining or structuring.
I purchased these for a bullet journal and they draw beautifully.Stabilo is my favorite brand of colored pen like markers. I think I have almost all of the colors, I've bought so many different sets.I first discovered these in high school years ago, and used them for note taking. They are great for writing letters and writing notes, the ink lasts such a long time.As an adult who doesn't write as many notes (hello note app!), I use these now for coloring. The ink flows so smoothly, it leaves no streaks behind. The ink NEVER skips, I just love this. It also dries quickly, so I don't get color on my hands of it's resting on my coloring page. The 88 size is the finer tip pen, if you want a larger tip then the 68s are what you need. The great thing about these is that the colors in the 88 set and the 68 set are labeled with their color number, and they match. So you're guaranteed to be using the same color if you need a fine tip and a larger one.I just wish there were more colors!I myself rely heavily on reviews when it comes to deciding whether or not I’m going to purchase something, so my reviews are completely honest. If my opinion of the quality of this product changes, I will update my review accordingly. Please let me know if my review was helpful to you by voting yes below, and let me know if you have any questions!I have loved the Stabilo brand since my dad got me some pens when I was a kid years ago. I could not find them here in the States (I'm originally from Southeast Asia) and was looking all over for them until I came across this set from Amazon. I promptly ordered myself a set and when it did arrive, I felt like a kid opening a birthday present! These Stabilo 88 0.4 fine point pens are wonderful for writing, which is what I use them for. I also love the diverse color palette. There are 25 pens/markers in all. The writing is smooth, the tip feels fine, though I do not exert much pressure when writing, there's no bleed through when writing (I use regular yellow writing pads though I did notice some bleed through when coloring) and the only flaw is that the caps can sometimes require a little more effort when you're taking them off. Other than that, I love this set. For about a dollar a pen, this set may seem pricey but I think it's worth the splurge since they generally seem to last longer than many other brands found in the stores. I would also recommend the For the price, the amount of markers you get and the quality is incredible. There is a variety of different colors; no two colors are so similar that they can be mistaken for each other. I use these to write my notes and every time I use a different color it is clear. You can see a bleed if you hold the paper up, and the darker colors are slightly more visible, but when you are using regular notebook paper the bleed is not noticeable, and I am able to take notes on both sides of my papers. Even when I press harder when making some letter strokes you can't really see the bleed. I have been using the markers for a few weeks and the amount of ink in them seems good, they are not drying at all. They don't really scratch once you use the markers once, and only a few of them had a slight scratch. They write smoothly, and my friend asked to borrow them and now wants to buy a set of her own. I would definitely recommend these markers.I love these pens. I've used Le Pen pens and Sakura Microns also. My 01 Microns definitely take the cake for thinnest lines with least show-through, but the Microns are just too expensive for everyday use. I tried the Le Pens before I heard of Stabilo 88 pens. I liked my Le Pen pens, but the lines were not as thin as the Microns and the colors definitely had more show-through.In comparison to the Le Pen pens, these Stabilo 88's are a wonderful, inexpensive alternative. I use these with 24lb printer paper in my planner, and have no problems with bleeding or shadow except on the very dark colors, and even that is minimal in comparison to the Le Pen pens. While the colors are a little less vibrant than the "Brights" Le Pens, the Stablio 88's are much smoother when writing, have less show-through, produce a thinner line, and are less expensive to boot. The Stabilos lack clips and feel more "plasticky" than either the Microns or Le Pens, but that's a small price to pay for the diversity of colors and price point.i’m currently using these pens for a journal/ scrapbook. so far i have only written a page with the teal color and it writes nice.. and most importantly they didn’t bleed through the journal i have.. the journal does have a little thicker paper than say a regular sheet of computer paper, but when you’re using a market you expect some sort of bleeding through.i would highly recommend these, and i will probably buy them again when the markers run out..they’re not as heavy duty as i thought they looked in the picture. the plastic doesn’t have the feel that i expected, but it’s ok. that wouldn’t stop me from buying them again..i will update this review if thy die sooner than expected. but so far so good!Just perfect! I purchased this set of markers for my college age daughter who is enjoying the new adult coloring books. She finds them to be very relaxing and a nice break from college studies. She loves these markers. They are fine lined and rich ink. The tips are firm so they don't color outside the lines which is so important for these fine, detailed coloring books for adults.I appreciate other purchasers' reviews and that is why I choose to write reviews. Amazon reviews help me choose which products to buy. I sort product choices by Average Customer Review to help decide which item to choose. I have found customer reviews to be very helpful and hope that I am paying it forward by providing this review. Thank you Stabilo for a wonderful set of markers and to Amazon for selling it and shipping it so quickly. I love Amazon! These pens are brilliant, well worth the price, you get a good range of colours and no sign or running out yet surprising as I use them daily and most colouring pens run out quickly. The only down side is that some of the colours don't exactly match up to the lid colour. I use them on the animal kingdom colouring book and they don't leak through too much a few dots hear and there but that's mostly from the paper quality. I would recommend these pens!! :)Having bought the black STABILO fine liners for a long time I decided to try the coloured ones. I am glad I did. Fine detailing is now easy with these pens, though I would not use them for coverage of large areas of a picture. Good selection of colours and some nice lighter shades. Great value in the multi pack too.Just received these , great colour pay off, very vibrant. Hope it continues to be the case! Never had any issues with stabilo stationary , really enjoy the highlighters so having high hopes for these pens!Great value for money also got 25 pens for less than £13 which is such a bargain !Stabilo fine line pens are really nice to write with. I have had a pack of "pocket sized" ones for ages. When I saw this set of pens on offer i bought them. There is a nice range of colours included in the packet. With 2 or 3 of most colours in different shades. As with all of the stabilo pens they are easy to hold. The lids clip on and off easily. They all have a very fine nib which makes them great for adult colouring books and small spaces. Depending on the paper quality they may or may not go through it.Best pens i've ever bought, and i've tried many! I do doodle art as a hobby and decided to move on from the plain black drawings to give colour a go, i was a little scared as i've never drawn in colour and also the black pens i use are perfect and don't blot. They are fab for any artist looking to add colour with a nice thin strong line.
